The one that cuts deepest,
Bleeds longest.
Driving us insane.
Love
The one four-letter word I shall never have.
The embrace of a lover.
The longing in their absence.
The joy of their return.
That four-letter word.
Love
When broken, hurts deeper than any pain.
When gained, sends us soaring.
When lost, we are thrown into darkness.
When found, the light scatters the shadows.
