Sit.
Watch.
The people passing.
A dim coffee shop.
Alone.
Waiting.
Have they been here?
The sweet smell of incense fills my lungs.
I enjoy the serenity.
I stare into the empty cup in front of me.
Partially dissolved granules of sugar mix with a memory of consumed liquid.
Through the window,
Cold.
Dreary.
Winter.
“Let me warm that up for you.”
