Author's Note: I will always love you; you haven't been forgotten.

Large, white, and majestic floating in a sea of blue;.
cold, wet, and hard sitting in solitude.
Waves are crashing as the sun is setting, a cold breeze
drifts from it’s strange beauty as it waits. Threatening.

Sails raised high above the glorious splendor adrift as night falls;
peaceful and calm, it rides the waves dancing in the sea.
The setting sun glistens off the deck while warm gusts
of wind tickle it’s radiant sides. Tranquility.

Dark and beautiful are the kisses in the moonlight;
warm and gentle, hugs and caresses are shared.
The moon, raised high, shines bright light on ‘the feeling’
as the smiles and moans entice and invite. Threatening.

Dense, red, mass sitting in a sea of blood;
Pumping and churning; its purpose: to sustain life..
Beating, it sings like a familiar song; It’s strength
is overwhelming, or so it seems... Tranquility.

Crash! The two beasts collide in the night.
The cold air from the ice meets the warmth of the deck.
It rocks and it shakes as cold water rushes in; a hole,
cut wide, will sink it into the depths. Threatening.

Broken! Those delicate feelings sink deep to an acid-filled
cavity; deteriorating, ‘the feeling’ can’t be replaced.
Debilitating, are the thoughts of what could have been as tiny
droplets of water amass in deep-set regard. Heartbreak.
