As we make our way back home
To the place where we belong
I know we've passed this way before

You have found me at long last
After years of being apart
Knowing my love for you would last forever more

You have gaurded my heart
Through all these many years
     Keeping it safe from harm

You have held my soul
Through your laughter and your tears
Maintaining the essence of its' charm

You have carried my sight
As you traveled the path of time
Engulfing my eyes with things I've never seen

You have shared your sense of touch
As we wandered along; placing your hand in mine
Filling me with the glory of where you've been

I searched the corners of this world
Seeking to find my heart still whole
Knowing deep inside; you have kept it so

I have made my way across the sands of time
Along the mountain sides and bumpy roads of stone
Never allowing the loss inside to show

It has been this dream of you
And the flame of love we shared
That has guided me to your heart a 'light

The beacon thats called me home
Whispering gently to my soul
     Drawing me from the night

You are the one I've been searching for
Not knowing what it is I sought
Until I stumbled in your way

It is you that makes me whole
The feeling of being half complete
     Has now been chased away

I am yours; you are mine
And we shall never part
For I shall dare not die again
