Vanish

We fought together
Through darkness and light
Through demons and the plights
But now we're shattering
As we lose ourselves to this world we once held dear

Time doesn't heal all our wounds
They sink deeper
Our blood runs thicker
Than the devils in our heads

We ran away from this
From the pain and the day
From the rain of despair
But now we're stumbling
Into an abyss we cannot break
Even if we're together

Blood runs thicker than rain
Life ebbs and flows
Strife comes and goes
But like a shadow we exist in light

Bury all the pain to escape
These scars we bare no longer
In the face of this sombre sound
The crying of those we've lost
The dying of who we fought for
In the silence of this world

We paid the price for it all
From the fear and agony
From the tears of misery
But now we're climbing up
From the darkness inside ourselves
To defeat the weakness we held

Blood runs thicker than pain
Life ebbs and flows
This knife, it knows
All you've lost and what you gave
To a world lost in silence
Together we'll make it vanish
