Just then, his phone vibrates. It's a text from his wife, asking if he had any luck finding his phone yet. Mike grimaces and starts his car to drive back home to his wife. He wonders if she'll be able to smell the sex on him.
Just before he turns out of the parking lot into the street, Mike looks up at his rear view mirror and sees the waitress on her hands and knees on the pavement, gathering up all the bills he threw at her.
Tomorrow, Mike decides, grabbing the pair of panties he dropped in the front seat and bringing them up to his nose, his secretary would have to prove just how much she valued her job.
