"I know...your jacket, the erm... card." I say, in answer to his unspoken question.
He knows I want to ask who he is, what happened, I see it in his furrowed brow and sad eyes.
But I don't, I don't want to know yet. I might wake to find he's up and gone. And maybe that would be better, to leave it as one glorious moment between two strangers. An unforgettable tryst, a compulsion.
I close my eyes again, and wait to see what I find when I wake.
