She just grumbled at me, indicating I should leave, so I did.
I retired to the kitchen and put the kettle on in case she wanted a drink and a chance to talk. I called that one right, anyway. She wanted coffee and she also wanted to talk. What did she want to talk about? Everything and nothing. She wanted to talk and have someone pay attention to what she was saying, to actual listen to her. It seems her ex never did that.
It's amazing how people come to like you when you're willing to listen to what they have to say. I've been seeing Vivian for a while now and she's really quite intelligent. I guess I caught her on a bad day initially.
