Ann's mouth dropped open, especially when Gracie quickly opened the front of her lace nightie to flash her amazingly perky 36D tits at us. She winked and closed it back up as the waitress walked back into the room with the checks. I grabbed both of them as soon as she put them on the table and pulled out my wallet.

"What are you doing?" Todd said.

"I'm paying for your breakfast," I said with a smile.

Todd laughed and said, "It's part of the room fee, Neil. It's a Bed and Breakfast...she's just letting you know what it comes to. They add it to the bill when you pay for the room."

I looked at the waitress and said, "Okay...add theirs to our room fee, please. The name's Thomas. We'll be checking out in a minute." I said with a grin.

"Very well sir," she said as she took the two bills and walked to the back.

"Neil, what did you do that for?" Todd said as he shook his head in bewilderment.

"I just figure you don't get a lot of people buying you breakfast, Todd. And since you're a jeans and T-shirt guy, you're not that different from me. And where I come from, friends buy friends breakfast. It's no big deal."

"We're your FRIENDS?" Gracie asked.

"You must be," Ann said. "How else can you tell Rose in all honesty that she was recommended by your good friends, Ann and Neil?"

"What makes you think we'd take pictures like the ones you've been taking?" Gracie said with a smile.

"Because, you're nudists...and your husband just put the card in the pocket of his robe," Ann said, winking at Todd.

"Well, thanks for breakfast then, you two. And for the pictures," Todd said as he stood up.

"Don't forget to thank them for last night, sweetheart. I think they both took a hell of a chance letting you live out one of your other little fantasies," Gracie smiled as Todd pulled her chair out for her.

"Other...fantasy?" Ann asked.

"He's always wanted to watch...you know."

Ann looked up at him and said, "Aw...I wish you would have told me. If you were just interested in watching, I might have let you two stay."

I looked at Ann, trying to determine if she was serious. But Todd assumed she was teasing. "That's okay, dear. It was a perfect fantasy moment as it was. And it certainly led to a wonderful night."

"Well, then I have to say that I'm a little surprised that you're both up this early too," I said with a laugh.

Gracie dabbed her mouth with her napkin and stood up, taking her husband's hand. "Up? We haven't gone to sleep yet. We just needed to get some nourishment to keep us going. After all, we're going to be here three more days!" She patted her husband's crotch and said, "Ready for round three, Mr. Armstrong?"

"I'm ready, Samantha."

"Samantha?" Ann asked, looking at me.

Gracie looked back, her blue eyes dancing back and forth like an excited schoolgirl. "Samantha Jennings...Mr. Armstrong's secretary. Looks like I get to take some more dictation! It was great to meet you both. Have a safe trip!"

Todd waved as he grabbed Gracie's ass though her robe, making her squeal as they walked out of the dining area. Ann and I sat there for a little while, smiling at each other as we finished our coffee. I looked at my watch...I could have sworn we'd been sitting there well over an hour, but my watch said it was only 6:35.

We got up, and headed back to our room to get our stuff. Ann stopped at the desk to settle the bill, while I went ahead and took the bags out to the car. After all, this was her surprise for me, and she'd put the reservation under her credit card. I could have paid cash, but I didn't want Ann to know about the bankroll her Uncle had given me to pay for our traveling. Besides, I wanted Ann to feel good about what she'd done for us, because I intended to be directing our activities the rest of our trip.

In fact, I needed to remind Ann of that. I noticed her yellow heels standing next to me as I packed the bags carefully in the hatchback. "Okay babe. That was the last thing you get to plan on our trip. You've had the last four days, I get the next four...okay?"

"It didn't really end like I thought it would," she said, grinning as she looked over the paperwork she gotten from the front desk.

"Is something wrong?" I asked.

"The room cost us $26.00," Ann said, looking up from the paper.

"What? That has to be a mistake."

"No...it isn't. Read this," she said, handing me the paper.

At the bottom of the bill, there was a handwritten note. I read it, not believing my eyes.

'To our good friends, Ann and Neil,

Ann, you are such a beautiful young woman, both inside and out. You've opened our eyes in more ways than one with how open and honest you are (so are you Neil). Ann, what you did last night was beyond remarkable. It was truly a memory we with both treasure the rest of our lives.

Neil, you were right. It's been a very long time since someone besides me has picked up the tab for any meal at a table where I've been sitting, and that includes a few friends I've known for over 30 years. For you to do it the first chance you get, even after finding out that we're not hurting for money, shows what kind of young man you really are.

I've gotten so accustomed to it, that it really surprised me when you reached for the check in the first place. It overwhelms us that you and Ann were serious in thinking of us as your friends, and then using that as the real reason for your generosity. And for you both to be so gracious, what with the precious gift of yourselves that you gave us last night, and again with the pictures this morning, I can't help but feel that Gracie and I have done all the taking. And when it comes to REAL friendships, they're a lot like marriages. They can't be one sided, with one doing all the giving, and the other doing all the taking. There needs to be balance.

We would never offend you by going against your wishes. You asked to pay for the check at breakfast, and so you shall. But to make things a little more even between friends, Gracie and I are picking up the tab on your room. You'll be spending a lot of nights in hotels the next few days. So we feel it's the least we can to do to pay for your stay last night. After all, it was one of the most memorable nights of our marriage, and we thank you for giving us that. We wish you both safe travels and an amazing adventure this week.

Your friends,

Todd and Gracie Armstrong

P.S. We're looking forward to meeting Rose!'

I looked up from the paper, and Ann leapt into my arms. "We have to GOT to be the hottest couple in America!" she said with a squeal.

"I think you're right," I said, a little in shock at what Todd and Gracie had done for us.

"I know...isn't that cool!" Ann said, giving me a quick kiss. She hugged my neck tightly, her legs locking around my waist. I could feel my cock starting to stir as she ground her hips into me.

I broke off the kiss, knowing if we didn't get going pretty soon, we'd end up checking back into the Bed and Breakfast just to use a bed. Plus, we had a lot of driving ahead, and I was hoping to get to the first destination in time to have plenty of time for fun. I was also hoping to have a lot of other fun along the way.

Looking at Ann, I grinned. "You know...the only way to really PROVE that we're the hottest couple in America is to actually go out and let them see us first hand. I think we should hit the road and show them."

"Anything you say, baby. You're in charge the rest of the week!"

~*~*~*~*~*~

It was a beautiful sunny day. And that was huge, because the day before had been a beautiful day too. And my hope was that we were in a pretty good weather pattern, and we'd hopefully be traveling under similar sunny skies as we crossed the country. I'd kind of worried that we'd get stuck in some storm system that would literally hang over us like a black cloud, following us wherever we went.

Of course, that didn't mean there wasn't the possibility of things changing as we went along. It was, after all, the weather; which I'm told can be as unpredictable as...well, the weather. But the fact that we were starting off our trip under clear blue skies certainly increased the odds of us having great driving conditions for our cross-country adventure.

I had started out driving, and we'd been traveling east on Interstate 80 for about an hour and a half since leaving downtown Sacramento. Ann was sitting in the passenger seat, and she was reading the note on the bill that Todd had hand written to us. Actually, she was re-reading it, for like the hundredth time.

My curiosity got the better of me, and I asked, "Is there something in that note that I'm missing?"

Ann looked up from the paper, her expression a little blank. Catching herself, she flashed a grin and said, "I'm sorry, baby. What did you say?"

"I asked if there's something in that note that I'm missing? You've been pretty quiet since we left this morning."

"I've just been thinking...that's all."

"About what?"

Ann tilted her head a little to the side and winked at me as she grinned. "About last night."

"And?" I asked, knowing there was more to it than what she was letting on. She'd been too quiet for too long, staring at the note in her hand.

"You were...amazing."

I didn't know if Ann was beginning one of her moments where she was going to struggle with how to say what she felt, or maybe if she was being coy, wanting me to drag information out of her. Or, she could be stalling like she'd do from time to time. It really could have been any or all of those. But I was struck by what she'd said.

"Ann...YOU were the one that was amazing. I really haven't told you how what you did affected ME. You seem to keep finding ways to blow me away."

"You want me to blow you?" she said, teasing me.

"I'm being serious, Ann. Picking out the perfect place to stay...and then all the things you did to make me really relax..."

"Did it work?"

"Yes! You were right...I slept fantastic!"

"Me too...but I always seem to sleep great after you fill me with your cum," she grinned.

I sighed and shook my head, my own smile letting her know I found her comment cute. Still, I tired to stay on the mark, and said, "I'm glad I could help. I just want to make sure you understand that none of that would have happened if it wasn't for you being so loving, and so giving, Ann. I'm really trying to be serious for once. I mean it...I love you so much!"

Ann looked at me, and she kind of sat back a little in her seat. "Wow, Neil...I'm sorry. Here I am flirting with you...and you just..." She waved her hand in front of her face, trying to keep from crying.

"It's okay Ann. I want you to flirt...but I also wanted you to know just how special last night was for me."

Ann was quiet again...this time to regain her composure. Finally, after a couple of miles, she said, "Me too."

Chuckling, I said, "Okay...so really, what's with the note? You can't read it as many times as you have and not be thinking something."

Ann looked at it again, and then she looked back at me, turning in her seat a little to face me. "I just can't get over that they think of us as friends," she finally said.

"What?"

"Todd and Gracie think of us as their friends. That just kind of blows ME away."

"Ann, I think they were just being polite, and returning the favor for us buying breakfast. That's what rich people do."

"I don't believe that Neil. If Todd wouldn't have told us, would you have thought they were...well, rich? They sure didn't act like they had money. They seemed pretty down to earth to me."

I thought about if for a second, and Ann was right. There wasn't a pretentious bone in either of them. They were a couple in love...having a romantic week of adventure together."

"Well, maybe he was just kidding about being a millionaire."

"I don't think so, Neil. That would mean they were lying, and I don't buy that for a second. We made it pretty clear how we feel about lying. They're the real deal."

"Okay, so they're wealthy, and they're good people. What's your point?"

"My point is they're offering their friendship back to us. I've read this thing over twenty times, and every time I read it, and then I think about how the four of us were together at breakfast...I really think we ARE friends now."

"Ann, we don't even know where they live. And they don't know where we live. Hell, WE don't even know where we're going to live. How can we really be friends with them?"

"Do you want to be?"

"What?" I asked, my face contorting a little.

"Do you want to be friends with the Armstrong's?"

"Ann, I just said..."

"I know what you said, baby. But I'm reading this, and they don't seem to care about the obstacles. I don't think they look at life like that. And I felt something...and I have a really strong sense about these kinds of things. I think they already ARE our friends. I think they saw us treating them like real people in spite of their money, and they loved us for that. You said it yourself...you bet that Todd didn't get a lot of other people picking up a check, and that did something to him. It spoke to his heart...and Gracie's too. So, what do you think?"

It was a weird question. And at the same time, it seemed perfectly logical for us, considering that the life that Ann and I had together was at times anything but logical. For us to gain a friendship just by being our sexual selves, and then following that up by being honest and generous...well, it may have sounded a little conceited in my head, but that was who Ann and I were together. Sexual, honest and generous...so why couldn't that lead to becoming friends with a couple that we knew, but didn't know. Yet it all seemed so preposterous.

"Sure, why not? They seemed like great people. Why wouldn't we want a rich, horny couple as friends?" I said with a hint of sarcasm.

"Neil...I am really serious about this. Something in my gut is telling me that we haven't heard the last of them. And if I'm right, I think we have an obligation to be their friends, since we implied it. You WERE serious about what you said, weren't you?"

"About what?"

"When you reached for the check, you said that friends buy friends breakfast. Did you mean it, or was that just a line?"

I thought back to the conversation we'd had with the Armstrong's. We'd touched on friendship, but we'd also touched on honesty. And as I searched my soul, I realized that I hadn't been putting on a show for them. I was serious. They did seem like friends to me. After all, they'd invited us to eat with them. They treated us with respect even AFTER we'd let them watch Ann. They didn't judge what we were doing that night, or the pictures we'd taken. And we hadn't judged them either...about their little fantasy weekend, or that they were nudists. It all seemed so perfectly natural being with them.

"You're right, Ann. I did mean it. They really ARE our friends, aren't they?"

"Uh huh. And like I said, for whatever reason, I really don't think we've heard the last from them," she said with an excited smile.

We'd been driving along the banks of the Truckee River for miles, the Interstate following the natural pathway where the water had created a pass though the mountains. We'd crossed the river several times, but for the most part, it was outside the passenger window to Ann's left. She was staring out that open window, looking at the riverbed, and the forest beyond it to the east.

I was staring out the windshield, looking at the road ahead. Coming around a slight bend, I noticed a place to pull off the side of the road; one of those places to get out and walk, or deal with some emergency, without being right on the shoulder of the freeway. And just beyond the end of that area, about another 100 feet, was a large sign that was looming there. I smiled when I saw it, and asked Ann if she wanted to stop for a moment to stretch her legs.

"That would be nice," she said, turning towards me for a moment before looking back out the window.

I signaled and pulled off the interstate, whipping the little blue Honda into the wide area of pavement that was off to the side. I pulled the car over near the guardrail, making sure I left enough room for Ann to open her door. She was standing outside before I even turned off the car, stretching her slender body as she watched the river below. I set the emergency brake and got out with her, camera in hand, and I took a couple of shots of the beautiful landscape.

"Where are we?" Ann asked as she put her arm around me, hugging me close to her.

I turned and pointed at the large sign that sat at the end of the paved area along the highway where we were standing. It was the welcome sign for Nevada. "We're just about to leave California, babe. I figured I'd give you a moment to say goodbye if you want."

Ann looked at me, her eyes smiling. "Wow...sometimes I just can't believe that you think of the things you think of, Neil."

"I feel the same way about you...I'm still overwhelmed by last night. So, do you want to fuck one more time in California, or do you want to drive all the way to Nevada," I said with a laugh.

Ann looked around at where we were, like she was thinking about it, but she said, "You know, I meant what I said last night. I really kind of want my last time in California to be what we shared together in Sacramento. At least, until we come out here to visit friends someday. I think I'd rather fuck you in Nevada."

"I didn't ask you about making love. We made love last night. I don't want to ruin that. But if you wanted to FUCK one last time in California, now's the time and the place."

"Using semantics as a way to get laid...I like it," Ann said with a smirk.

"Just thinking of you, my love," I grinned.

Ann thought about it for a second and said, "You know, truthfully...I really want my last time having sex here to be what we did last night. That was so special to me...and I hope it was for you too. I hope you don't mind."

"Mind...Ann, Nevada is like, eight feet away," I said, pointing toward the sign again.

She laughed and said, "So, you just want to walk me over to the other side of that sign and start fucking me? Even that's a little brash for us, don't you think?"

"What do you mean?"

"What do I mean? I mean...it's one thing to flash people on a highway from a car, or to fuck next to an interstate when you're on top of a mountain next to it where no one can really see that well...like we did after we left Aunt Helen and Uncle Marty's. But it's another thing entirely to just fuck out in the open right there," she said pointing at the sign. "I'm pretty sure that's a sure fire way to get us arrested."

A spark of an idea ran through my mind, and I got a wicked smile on my face. Ann saw it, and her eyes got wide. "What in the world are you thinking, Neil Antonio Thomas?" she said as she wagged her finger at me.

I grinned and said, "I'm thinking you need to get undressed, Anna Renee Franklin!"

~*~*~*~*~*~

"You better find a place to pull over pretty soon, baby...or I swear I'm gonna just straddle you and fuck you while you drive!"

Ann was playing with her pussy, slowly fingering her clit in a tiny little circle. She wasn't trying to make herself cum. She was bringing herself close, and then torturing herself by stopping and denying her own pleasure. She'd been doing that since we'd stopped to stretch our legs, and have a little fun. We'd traveled about twenty minutes, which put us just outside of Reno.

"Patience, babe. I'll get off at the next exit."

"You better, or I'm getting off in this seat, and you can wait until later!" Ann wouldn't really have done that, but she was a little on the desperate side. Our adventure back by the side of the road at the state line had gotten Ann so horny, she actually considered fucking me right then and there. Instead, she scrambled into the car and we took off, my rock hard cock seemingly pointing the way as I drove to find somewhere for us to fuck off the sexual edge we'd worked up.
