Just as we finished our cleansing process on a table at the far end of the pool, Deke appeared. He smiled. "Time to go and shoot, ladies. I watched part of your last lesson with Lucas and Carlos. It was good one. Let's add some more shooting skills to what you've got. Did Lucas talk about being able to draw and fire within five seconds when you're carrying?"
Cindy and I both groaned, but got ready to shoot. We'd have to clean our Glocks again after firing practice.
That was a fine break from all of the waterworks! To me it gives the story some depth.
