What I wrote above is actually--important. For psychologists, etc. Oh. Maybe the above writer is a grad student in psych at UIHC--then, yeah. Exclaimation points make stuff less scary.
I realized early on that exclaimation points are girly. "Real men," i guess, don't use them often. So, if you want to say something girls/ women might find "threatening," make them pull away, have distrust--use exclaimation points!
