Authors Note:

This story depicts graphic lesbian sex and mind control. All characters are fictional and are depicted as being over the age of 18.

I would like to take a moment to thank all of my readers who wait so patiently for each new chapter that I post. I know I take far too long writing each chapter and it likely costs me readers who simply give up waiting but I just can't seem to go faster.

I tend to get very attached to my characters as my stories develop and become almost obsessive about making sure their stories are as right as I can possibly make them before posting. I tend to read and re-read and re-read what I've written trying to make sure everything sounds just so. This is part of the reason I don't use an editor, because I need to make sure my character's stories are told just as I imagine them. I'm sure this makes me a weaker writer in the long run and leads to typos, misspelled words and grammatical errors but I just can't let anyone else see what I write till it's done, at least in my own mind. It may sound silly, but it's how my mind works. So my apologies if there are a few errors buried in the following twenty thousand or so words, but what you're reading is my heart and soul, typos and all.

Please remember that I, like all the authors on this site do this in our free time solely for your enjoyment and that we are not professional writers. Our only reward is the feedback and votes we get from you, our loyal readers.

A most sincere thank you to everyone who has read, voted and especially taken time to leave feedback on my previous stories. Your continued support truly means to world to me.

Having said all that, I hope you will enjoy my words.

Part One ~ The Morning After

A brilliant flash of light shown through Mary's closed eyelids and she groaned at the lance of pain it sent through her head. A moment later a loud, rumbling boom shook the entire room, jolting her fully awake. She sat bolt upright, her eyes snapping wide open with alarm and confusion.

She was in her bedroom, sprawled out naked across her bed, damp bed sheets wrapped around her legs and one arm. Quickly untangling herself she listened again for what had awakened her. Gradually she became aware of a constant rushing noise and realized it was rain. Heavy rain. A moment later another flash lit the room and another boom, louder this time, split the air.

Thunderstorm, and a big one from the sound of it.

She sat there for a minute trying to collect her thoughts before the events of the previous night came back to her with a sudden rush. Kazorra... Julia! She looked around the gloomy room nervously. Her eye caught a dark, irregular mass on the floor and she squinted into the darkness. The lightning flashed again and she saw what it was, Julia.

"Julia?" She called softly. When the shadow didn't even twitch, apprehension stirred low down in Mary's belly. She scooted to the edge of the bed and called louder, "Julia!"

The figure on the floor groaned and stirred. After a moment it rolled over and sat up. "Mary?"

Leery of what she might find, Mary strained her eyes, hoping against hope that she wouldn't see Kazorra's glowing green cat-like eyes staring back at her. Lightning flashed again and Mary saw only the glittering depths of Julia's coal black eyes.

"Julia!" She dropped down off the bed and practically tackled the smaller woman back to the floor. "I was so worried! I didn't know if I would ever get you back or..." she choked, swallowed hard then continued, "I thought you were gone, taken or possessed or whatever. She crushed the smaller woman into a fierce hug, "I love you."

Julia yielded easily into the hug and burst into her own tears. "Oh Mary, I'm so sorry! I tried to stop her! I really did. But I couldn't, she was too strong. She just... I don't know... pushed me aside. I could still see and hear and feel everything but I couldn't do anything. It was like watching a movie, I was just along for the ride." She shuddered, "But I could feel everything. I could feel what she felt and it was... it was," she seemed to struggle for words for a second before finally saying, "let's just say it was weird."

"I can imagine."

"No," Julia said, shaking her head, "I don't think you can. I mean, you didn't even touch me... her. Remember? She did everything but she..." she paused and blushed as she looked down uncomfortably before continuing, "we felt everything. I could feel everything she did to you. I could feel my tongue entering you as both my tongue and your..." she reddened further, "well, you know, as you."

"You felt it all?"

"Yes, it was like she was feeding off your lust, drinking it in or absorbing it or something. I think that's what she wants or maybe even needs from you, I think that sex, lust... something. It gives her power." Julia said.

"It is quite likely that Julia is at least partially correct. Remember, Kazorra is the Goddess of Lust, Passion, and Debauchery. It is possible, actually quite likely, that she would gain power in that way." Marcellene said into Mary's thoughts. "In a sense, it was like an offering to her."

"An offering?"

"What?" Julia asked.

"Sorry." Mary turned to Julia, "Marcellene was saying she agreed with you." Mary said, "That my lust and passion was like an offering to Kazorra. Giving her more power."

"So what just happened made her stronger?" Julia asked nervously.

"Likely yes, but probably not much. Remember, eons ago she would have had hundreds, or thousands of followers to worship her and make offerings to her. You are only one."

Mary relayed the answer to Julia, "Marcellene said yes but probably not much because it was just me, not a whole legion of followers like she used to have. But still..." Mary trailed off as Julia interrupted her.

"How can we stop her from taking us, again?" Julia's voice became small and scared, "From taking me again?" She looked into Mary's eyes, "Marcellene, do you know? I don't want her doing that to me again, I don't want her using me to get to you."

"She is a Goddess. Even in her weakened state, she is still immensely powerful. The powers of a mortal, even one with an artifact such as you wield, are puny in comparison."

"That doesn't really help Marcellene," Mary said wryly after telling Julia what the sorceress said.

"The only thing that I can think of that may truly help would be to devote yourselves to another god or goddess. Kazorra seems to believe you are already a devotee of Ama-Arhus, likely because of the ring or perhaps she saw something in your mind. Remember she wanted you to renounce your loyalty before pledging yourself to her?" Marcellene said."It is likely that thoughts of Ama-Arhus shielded you, at least partially. Perhaps that is why she was only able to enter your mind while you were dreaming when your defenses were at their weakest. It would also explain why she could take Julia but not you. Julia has little knowledge or loyalty to my goddess, but you do in at least some small measure."

Thinking about the encounter the night before, Mary remembered when at one point she thought of Ama-Arhus. She recalled the comforting, protected feel that had coursed through her and how it had given her strength. She told Marcellene and Julia.

"Yes! Exactly!" Marcellene exclaimed, "That is exactly what I was hoping for. If you believe in her, she can help you." She paused then asked, "Do you truly believe in Ama-Arhus?"

"I... I don't really know," Mary said carefully. "I suppose I do. I mean look what her powers have done for me." Mary said, smiling at Julia. "I'm happier now than I ever imagined I could be." She paused then added, "Well, aside from the whole 'Evil Goddess trying to suck up my soul' thing of course."

Mary heard Marcellene's rich chuckle in her mind before the sorceress continued more soberly. "It is a mistake to think that Kazorra is evil. She is not. It is simply her nature to be debauched. Remember, she is the goddess of all the baser things in humanity but primarily of lust, pleasure and especially sex. Do not mistake her lusts for an evil nature. Lust in itself is not evil, it is simply one part of human nature. You yourself have given in to lust many, many times, no? Do you consider yourself evil?"

A little taken aback by Marcellene's rebuke, Mary blushed and said, "No, of course not."

"Think on that." Marcellene said. "Remember, the sacrifices she demands are acts of lust, not a sacrifice of blood as many other Gods demand. In truth, I do not think she would intentionally hurt you in any way. In fact, quite the contrary, I think she favors you greatly. Recall that she said she planned to make you her High Priestess. A statement like that coming from a god is not something to take lightly. It is indeed one of the greatest honors a mortal can ever receive."

"She favors me that much? Why?"

"Yes, I believe she does. And normally I don't think being a devotee of Kazorra would be a problem. That is, as long as you favor a life of depravity and debauchery. But in your case, it may be different. She has been drawn to you by your ring. Remember what we discussed before? That your ring would be a conduit for the gods to come back to this world? I fear that because of the ring and your own innate magic she would consume you utterly if she tried to use you as her avatar."

"Wait, her what?"

"I believe what she is seeking is an avatar. A host in this world so that she may come back and start gathering new followers. Eons ago when she was already close to the realm of mortals, when she had many devotees, this would have been easy for her. She could simply pick any follower and take that person, much as she did with Julia earlier. But it would be far easier for her because she was already close to this world and the devotee had already accepted to her, was open to her in a sense. Where Julia was unwilling and Kazorra is barely in this realm, she had to force her way in and with her power so low, it must have taken much of what she had. That is likely why she could only manifest herself for such a short time even with the ring, the conduit, so close by. It is likely that without the ring so close at hand, she could not have even done that much. That is why she has been away from the land of mortals for so long."

"So without the ring, she can't get back at all?" Mary asked.

"I don't believe so, not on her own. I would imagine if she could get back on her own, she would have long ago."

"Why didn't she try and come back with any of the other men who had the ring before?" Mary asked.

"I don't fully know but I suspect it was because they were all male. Something about you being female has changed the equation."

" However, it is exactly because of that ring, the fact that it is a conduit directly to the divine, that makes you another matter entirely. If she could get you to accept her, to allow her in, she would overwhelm your soul utterly."

"So she would just, like, take me over?" Mary asked, suddenly feeling very small.

Mary could sense hesitation in Marcellene but after a moment the sorceress continued, "She would possess you, become you in a sense. Likely in her opinion, this would be a great gift. Indeed, eons ago it would likely have been the highest aspiration for a devotee of Kazorra to aspire to. To be an avatar of the Goddess. But I fear that once she left your body if she left it, there wouldn't be enough of your soul left to survive. Indeed, there might not be any of you left at all. It would be like..." Marcellene paused, considering. "Think of it like this, the average person is like a candle in a jar. Kazorra is the flame. She can take that person for quite some time with little consequence. What they are will yield to her and she can use them, consume them, but only slowly. You, on the other hand, with your innate magic and the power of the ring bonded to you, would be more akin to a jar filled with gasoline. Once the flame enters you, you would be utterly consumed in an instant."

Mary swallowed. "I can't say I really like the sound of someone else taking me over forever or leaving me as an empty jar," Mary said. "But you said she's not really evil, more like desperate? Maybe she wouldn't do that to me?"

"I don't think she would do it intentionally but I don't know if she could avoid it and also I doubt she would be overly concerned about your welfare anyway. She is a goddess after all, as I said, in her mind what she is offering you is probably the greatest honor she can bestow. You would become in effect the High Priestess of Kazorra, consecrated by the Goddess herself, host of the true Goddess. Quite an honor really, in her opinion anyway, for a creature so lowly as a mortal. Remember, immortals tend to regard humans as you would a bug. You might avoid stepping on them intentionally but if you do...well..."

Mary could practically hear the implied shrug by the sorceress and shivered. Like squashing a bug. "So while she might not try and kill me, she will use me and won't be overly concerned if I die in the process." Mary summed up.

"That is my belief. Though I could be incorrect of course." Marcellene conceded.

"What?" Julia asked, seeming to get more than a little annoyed. "You know this one sided conversation thing kinda sucks from the sidelines. We need to find a way for Marcellene to talk out loud or at least make it so I can hear her as well."

"Yeah, sorry," Mary said and brought Julia up to speed on their conversation.

After a couple seconds, Julia nodded, "Yeah, I kinda think she's right. From what I could feel when she was me, she didn't really feel... well... bad. She felt..." Julia paused, thinking, "hungry." She said finally. "Almost desperately so." She looked to Mary. "After hearing more of this I almost feel bad for her. She has been waiting for new followers for so long. She just wants to get back into this world somehow."

Mary looked at Julia sidelong, "Are you offering yourself up?"

Julia went pale at the suggestion, "No. Once was more than enough. I don't think..." she broke off for a few seconds then continued, "Being there when she was taking you, feeling her power as she drank you in, tasting, feeling your pleasure as she was giving it to you was... intoxicating." Julia looked into Mary's eyes. "It would be very easy to lose yourself in that kind of feeling, that kind of power. I don't want to risk that. It felt a little... I don't know, but I don't want it again."

"Ok. I understand."

"I just... I just want to be me." Julia said, wetness welling up in the corners of her dark eyes.

Mary looked at Julia and then asked Marcellene, "So why if Kazorra took Julia, is she ok now? Is it because she wasn't in her that long and she's, you know, like what you said about the candle, slow burning?"

"I'm not certain she was even fully in Julia, she may not have to power yet. That was likely only a tiny fraction of her in this world. And yes, she was only here for a very short time. If she was able to come in fully she could have completely taken over for as long as she desired."

A thought occurred to Mary, "Ok, so why is it bad to offer myself to Kazorra and let her take me over but better to offer myself to Ama-Arhus? Won't she take me over as well?"

"No, I don't believe so. It has never been her way to enter this world in any physical way like Kazorra desires to. Ama-Arhus is content to guide events from her realm through her followers.

"You're sure of that?" Mary asked cautiously. "This is my soul we're talking about here."

"I have been loyal to my goddess for thousands of years and studied her for all that time. I am as certain of this as anything. Marcellene said.

Mary sighed. "Ok Marcellene, so how do we keep Kazorra from taking Julia again and coming back for me?" Mary asked.

"Devote yourself to my Goddess. I firmly believe this is the best plan. You may believe in her but you have not openly devoted yourself to her so she does not really recognize you yet. Once you are openly devoted, her power should act a shield of sorts. It should allow you resist Kazorra or any other god or goddess that comes along. Especially for Julia, who has no defense at all."

Mary relayed Marcellene's words to Julia who sat silently listening.

"What do I have to do?" Julia asked as the thunder outside rolled.

Mary looked over at her and took her hand. She smiled and said, "What do we do?"

Part Two ~ A Major Change

The iron ring, symbol of a Priestess of Ama-Arhus, hung from a thin silver chain and nestled comfortably between Mary's breasts as she walked down the hallway at her office, heading to a meeting with the company owner to discuss the summer intern prospects that she had interviewed.

It had now been several days since she and Julia had gone through the ritual to become Priestess of Ama-Arhus, Goddess of Women, and since taking their vows neither had seen any hint of the Goddess Kazorra. That in itself was encouraging but Marcellene wasn't convinced yet. She believed that the goddess was simply biding her time perhaps regaining her energies. After all, what was a few more days after she had already waited thousands of years?.

Mary rounded the corner and walked into the owner's office since the door was already open. Jacob Mires's office, like the outside face of the office building, was apparently a throwback to the late seventies with dark wood paneling everywhere, dark wood furniture and dark orange carpets. Mary had thought on many occasions that all the place needed was few wall sconces with yellow glass shades on then, a couple more tables and the place would look exactly like an old steakhouse restaurant that her parents used to take her to when she was a kid. It was easily one of the ugliest rooms she had ever seen.

Upon entering she immediately came up short at seeing who was seated in one of the chairs across from the owner. His son, Justin smirked over at Mary, his eyes pausing for an uncomfortably long time on her breasts before finally looking up at her face.

"Hey Mares." He said, using a foolish nickname that she detested but he insisted on using despite her asking him to stop.

Her mood immediately sank into her boots and she sighed heavily, "I've asked you to stop using that nickname."

"Yeah, yeah, I know. But it suits you better."

Justin's father, Jacob, cut off any further discussion by clearing his throat loudly and saying, "Mary, please sit down."

Mary sat and opened up her folder with the resumes and all her notes. "Who would you like to start with?"

Fifteen minutes later Mary was getting close to losing her temper and was beginning to think that perhaps it was time to start working on her own resume.

"He was recommended by a friend and I told him that we were hiring him. Done deal." Justin said with a little sneer that Mary wanted to smack off his face.

"He's an idiot. He knew nothing during the interview, didn't ask a single question, didn't seem interested at all." Mary said, her voice rising, "What the hell would we use him for?"

"Well, it's not your decision," Justin said.

"Well, he can work for you because he's not working for me." Mary snipped.

"Mary," Jacob said from the other side of the desk, "Please calm down. This is just a summer intern job."

"I realize that, but I was the one that did the interviews, I talked to all of them, one of them on my own time I might add since you scheduled it after hours, and I think this woman is the best applicant by far. Then he goes and makes a promise to a friend and I get stuck dealing with his mess. If he want's to skip real talent and hire a moron, let him use the kid."
