Felicia stared at her.

She smiled.

"W- What are you?" She whispered.

Lostariel groaned, bringing Felicia's attention back to her friend. The woman straightened out her vest and blouse and started walking for the front door. "She's heading for Popi, I suggest you hurry! My new friend isn't far behind!"

"W- Wait-" Lostariel groaned weakly as she tried to right herself. "Our things–"

"Oh, yes, how silly of me. You need supplies." The woman glanced up briefly as if doing some quick math and then produced a bag from her vest pocket, tossing it at Felicia's feet. "This should get you there. Beyond that? Well, I guess we'll see won't we?"

Felicia eyed the woman. "You have my horse."

"Talk to the inn keeper, I'm sure he'd be happy to take care of you. Now," she clapped once, twice, "Off you go."

Lostariel took Felicia's hand and with a weak, wary and utterly defeated look in her saddened eyes, she whispered something that sent a cold dagger down Felicia's spine. "That. . . .that is a dragon's child. . . .I wanted you to go home."

There was a moment. Just one. . .

Where Felicia wanted to take that advice.

Instead, she clutched her friend tightly and tried, desperately, not to speak of the fears running through her.

I come to this website for erotic stories, then I come across this bloody gem. This is simply the best story I have read, Gods who are disconnected from whats really going on, a Dragon that would bring the world to it's knees and individuals utterly dedicated to their cause.

The only thing I hate is that I'm more then halfway through the story. This story is deep and rich enough to be made into a TV series or something that cdprojektred would develop into a video game.

Thank you for taking the time and effort to write this story.
