Click hereSusan and Early had no problem accepting Mr. Jenson's deal because they weren't after any money and giving John Stickner a memorable lesson was enough for Early.
Susan felt sorry for Stickner but regarded it as his own fault. It was the receptionist's lie to Early that caused the whole crap for her.
However, John Stickner didn't regard being fired as his own fault and rang Early later that evening. He accused Susan of being a cheap, well used company whore who would pay for what she done to him.
Had Stickner been less drunk and told a sane story, he might have persuaded Early to listen to his complaints. But instead, Early just recorded the call and suggested that John Stickner should either call Peter Hastings at Cooper, Hastings & Waldstein for further complaints or just get a one-way ticket to a very hot place.
Actually the first page was quite well done. The critics bemoaning it, apparently want the formulaic husband who is passive and waits while the slut wife cheats. He took action immediately as almost any husband would. He demanded she quit her job, and she did in a heartbeat. The ending seems kind of thin. And honestly a lot more work have to be done to fix the marriage. To those who think there is no difference from intent to cheat and actual consummation: I hope you never have to learn the hard lesson in how they are not the same. 4 stars.
Very lame and not worth reading. This wasn't an ending to the original story, it's a very different story and still lame.
It cant be called a continuation if you change the basic facts that there was an affair. Wronglt titled and misleading
