Jack turned the door handle slowly, not wanting to make too much noise even if Ed did turn out to be asleep. He pushed the door open and could see Ed sprawled out on top of his covers wearing only boxers. Maybe he would wait for him to wake up in the other bed next to him.
Pushing the door further open, Jack realised someone was asleep on the other twin bed. Lily's hair fell softly over the pillow and Jack recognised the top she was wearing as Ed's. Ed was a lot slimmer than Jack and less muscular so the slogan on the top stretched obscenely over Lily's breasts, hugging her every curve. Her legs were bare and she was wearing a pair of boxers, probably also Ed's. Jack's chest tightened in jealousy and anger. How could she? Maybe he would go and see if the other girls were awake.
