After he said goodnight to Ray, who remained on the bed, I walked Greg to the door, stepping behind it when I opened it. I reached for his lips with mine, and we kissed a goodnight kiss, a kiss of friendship, a kiss of understanding.
"Thank you," I said to him, waving to him before I closed and locked the door.
Ray took me into his arms when I returned to bed, my wrap on the floor at the foot of the bed, and we made sweet, slow, delicious love for what seemed like hours. The tender fury of his lovemaking to me, filling me with love, filling me with a comfort that wrapped around me.
