The door burst open and Ren stumbled into the room panting. "Father, come quickly! There are lots of men on horses arriving through the fields. They're..." he licked his lips nervously. "I think they're a war band." Ren shot a quick glance to Jove, he looked truly spooked.
Father Gordon took a moment to process what Ren had said. Then he looked at Jove gravely. "I think it means that there is going to be a war, my boy."

Anonymousover 7 years agoThe typical PWPness of most stories in this site was starting to get bland. So imagine my delight when I found this little gem of a story that doesn't use porn logic as a convenient plot device. Love how you integrate world-building in this series as well as giving your characters a distinct personality. Keep up the good work! I'm definitely looking forward to your next instalment.
