The part about hoping for NO next chapter amazed me.
I’m frequently a critic of leaving the readers hanging with o conclusions.
Here I wondered if the siblings went to the same college & shared an apartment, & how mom was going to fit in with her daughter.
Actually I think bringing mom into the story was superfluous.
