Click hereIf there were an Energy Essence Being that wanted to come to this dimension, and that had chosen Karen to be its parent, then Karen's death blocked that birth. Now, half a year later, Summer and I had created the opportunity for that Being to come into this world. The baby that Summer would have would be the same one Karen and I would have had. I felt certain. She and George would be good parents, and I'd be an active godfather to the child.
I sat and cried as I felt overwhelmed with my emotions. I felt sadness at the loss of Karen and the mother she would never get to be. I also felt joy at the prospect of the birth of Summer's and my child. I felt joy in all the love that had been heaped upon me in the past weeks. The universe worked in strange ways.
Eventually, with a smile and a new sense of satisfaction that I'd done something good – something really good, I got back on my bike to continue my road trip and head north into Michigan. I already felt like there'd be new friends and new adventures there. I also knew in my soul that I had begun to heal.
To be continued
Really enjoying so far, as I am a fan of Steve Wallace, but where were Karen’s ashes placed in Mississippi? I will keep reading and perhaps Jim makes a return trip . At least I hope that he does, otherwise story has a hole in it!
Part One was well-written and within the bounds of possibility, but this Part Two episode smacks very much of Forrest Gump. The author tries way too hard to find a vehicle to carry the frequent graphic sex scenes and as a result the whole work becomes a travesty.
I will not be reading the additional parts - the story is becoming way too predictable and stale.
well written, but just too unbelievable for my taste. Then was a tv show about a guy on a bike---then came Branson?---and also Kung fu where Caine saved the day every week; real life is much more boring.
