He raised a hand to put an end to the battle but there was no need as she had taking out practically all the strongest warrior vampires in the room. He smiled slowly to her as she gazed at him triumphantly.
'Now that this is settled, does anyone have any problem with my queen?'
No one said anything as it was blatantly obvious that she was beyond capable of taking care of herself and the whole gathering singlehandedly. Sebastian nodded at their acquiescence.
'This meeting is over.' He said softly, his eyes only for Annette. He stood up abruptly and walked over to Annette. 'My lady?'
Annette stared up at him, her own gaze turning limpid as she noticed how aroused his stare was. She smiled at him and placed a hand in his and they both walked out of the room straight to Sebastian's suite.

Anonymousover 14 years agoThis chapter made me shake my head and laugh at the seeming stupidity of men(vampire), why any would think they could best Annette after seeing her toss others about is comical to me.
