The Family Ritual Ch. 35

Samantha was dressing for the party. She wore a slinky blue sequined gown with large silver earrings and silver sandals. She was excited about introducing her sister to some of Hollywood's best. She was a little disappointed that George Clooney and his wife weren't coming, but director Stephanie Stone and Anna would be there and so would Adrian Close and Max his husband.

Monica Casey and Desiree had also been invited and she was coming now that Monica and Samantha had an understanding.

Samantha went to check on the chef and the kitchen. The catering staff had everything under control. They were using this night as a charity event for Juvenile Diabetes and Samantha had plans to donate five million dollars to the cause.

Brandon was getting ready. His Armani Tuxedo looked great on him. His cell phone rang and a number he didn't recognize appeared. Brandon answered it, "Hello?"

"Hello honey, I couldn't wait to tell you the news, I'm pregnant. The baby is due in May." The voice said.

"Who is this? You've got the wrong number." Brandon said and hung up.

Ellen held the phone. She heard his voice and it sent shivers down her spine.

Hayley was dressed in red. She and Samantha had gone shopping on Rodeo drive and Hayley had spotted this red Dolce and Gabbana gown and had fallen in love. It cost eight thousand dollars and Hayley didn't even blink when she handed over her credit card.

The dress accented her 40D breasts. Jake came into the bedroom dressed in his Dolce and Gabbana Tuxedo. He came behind Hayley and kissed her neck. From his pocket he took out a diamond necklace and put it around her neck.

Surprised Hayley looked into the full length mirror and gasped. "Jake, it's beautiful."

"Yes you are." Jake said turning her to kiss his lips. He reached back into his pocket and took out a pair of matching earrings. Hayley smiled. "Thank you."

"I realize that I never gave you a wedding gift and so yesterday while you were buying this amazing dress, Brandon and I were at the jewelry store." Jake said admiring her.

What he didn't tell Hayley was that Blake had phoned him while they were in Italy and told Jake that he had put Matthew's wedding gift to him in his account. Jake nearly fainted when Blake told him that he was one hundred million dollars richer.

Hayley took his hand and kissed it. "Let's go downstairs before I ravage you here." Jake said and taking her hand they went out to the hallway to see Brandon getting ready to come downstairs.

The living room was filled with guests. There was a band playing and people were talking and milling around. Dinner would be served outside in the warm LA night.

Hayley and Jake were introduced to everyone. Hayley was excited to meet Harrison Ford and James Spader while Jake got engrossed in a conversation with Robert Downy, Jr.

Samantha excused herself from Adrian Close to greet her cousin, Derrick Cassidy Kennedy. Derrick was a very handsome, 6 ft 2 very handsome man. He had shoulder length blond hair, striking blue eyes and looked like Orlando Bloom as Legolas from Lord of the Rings without the pointed ears.

He had the expression of innocence, but he was pure Dom underneath. He kissed Samantha. "Hello cousin. I see the party is in full swing."

"I see you are solo." Samantha says looking around to see if his date was maybe late.

"Yes, this time I've decided to just see who's here. You seem to have Hollywood Royalty." Derrick said, "Oh before I forget, here is my check for the charity."

Samantha took the check and grinned, "Thank you my generous cousin, one million dollars that's wonderful."

"Yes, your husband's last movie made me a great deal of money." Derrick said.

"Since you are one of his producers I hope so." Samantha said and then took his hand, "Come meet our guests of honor, your cousin Hayley and her new husband, Jake."

Hayley and Jake were introduced to Derrick. Derrick remarked that he hadn't seen Hayley since they were both little. He had just missed her at the last reunion having arrived late from a film shoot. Hayley had left to return to school and they had just missed each other.

Derrick whispered to Samantha, "It's too bad one cannot marry one's cousin, she's very sexy and I'm sure submissive."

"Yes, but she belongs body and soul to Jake now and besides buzz on the vine is that you've found your soul mate... Blake's sister-in-law, Lacy."

Derrick chuckled, "I haven't met her yet, but I've seen photos of her. If this works out, she could be the new Mrs. Cassidy Kennedy. Blake is working on her training. She's a bit headstrong and needs to be bent."

Samantha laughed, "Blake will certainly bend her, I think you want to break her."

Smiling Derrick kissed Samantha's cheek, "Cousin you know me too well."

Brandon came over and the two men hugged. Derrick saw a young actress named Francy that he hadn't yet met. He excused himself and went over to meet her.

Brandon kissed his wife's lips lightly. "It's going well. Did you get the scoop on Lacy and Derrick?"

"You know I did and it's true. I feel for the poor girl, first Blake then Derrick; she'll stay on her knees." Samantha laughed.

"From what I've heard she's a real piece of work. Blake has his work cut out for him." Brandon said.

"You and I both know that Blake is the world wind while Derrick is just the wind. Derrick is strong, don't get me wrong, but there is something about Blake that is really scary. He scares the hell out of me and have you seen his cock, it's almost as big as Lances and fat around." Samantha said shuddering.

"Valentina takes it and I've heard he's really good at it." Brandon says putting his arm around his wife.

"We both know how good he is at sucking. He's very intense and gets right to the heart of the matter. Blake can have you creaming in five seconds." Samantha laughed.

They both laughed and went to join their guests. Derrick got the phone number of Francy. Three days later he called her and took her out. They began dating and the newspapers caught wind of it and Francy became a hot property. She was concerned though because Derrick hadn't asked her to bed. He took her out to dinner or dancing at the hottest clubs and then he dropped her at home. She decided to ask him if he were gay.

Derrick burst out laughing. "No, I'm not gay, but I will tell you that I'm more Christian Gray than that book. I'm the real deal and I don't deal with play rooms. I don't fool around. I'm looking for a slave, not just someone who will submit one time. So if you want to play with me it's not play." He said frankly.

Francy understood and never asked to go home with Derrick again. She benefited from her alliance with Derrick and got a big part in Brandon's next movie.

Daniela and Mason spent time in Connecticut with Lady Chadwell, Frederick and Millie. Frederick was so happy to see his grandbabies. He made food for everyone and Cook sent them some of his friend chicken all the way from Colorado.

As a gift Cook sent the babies a beautiful doll house with a tiny kitchen that ran real water and was an exact replica of their home. Frederick had Daniela send him pictures which Cook had then sent to the designer. The nursery had just been completed and had two tiny dolls one black and one white to represent the children.

Daniela immediately phoned to thank him. Daniela and Mason had decided, after reading her resume, to hire Portia as the babies Nanny. She would be arriving from England in two weeks just in time for Daniela to start school again. Daniela was due to have her six week check-up and was eagerly looking forward to it. She wanted sex with Mason so badly that she couldn't stand it. Lady Catherine was staying until the nanny got settled. She had been speaking with the wedding planner in England and needed to get back to finish preparations for Daniela and Mason's wedding and the Ritual after.

She and Lord Chadwell talked every day. They had a special wedding gift for the newlyweds and couldn't' wait to present it to them after the wedding.

Claudia Chadwell had sent a table and four chairs with a Winnie the Pooh motif that matched the room while Tara and Braxton had sent two high chairs, and beautiful hand letters with both babies' names. Sarah Chadwell and her husband Adam sent linen for the twin's crib, baby bath tubs and bath products and toys.

The rest of the family sent gifts from around the country with everything Mason and Daniela would need for the next few years. In addition gifts were made to several charities in New York and Connecticut in the babies names including an orphanage.

Mason donated several million dollars to help quite a few children receive surgery and brought in a few from other countries. He was over the moon with his own healthy children and wanted other parents to feel the way he did.

Lady Chadwell talked to her husband about how wonderful Mason was doing with the children and she was happy for him.

As for Mason, he had never been happier. Daniela went for her check-up and the doctor said she was good and ready to go. She decided to take shots until it was hers and Mason's turn to get pregnant again.

That night she asked Lady Chadwell and her father to take care of the children. Mason was in New York at the restaurant and was driving back to Connecticut. Daniela had decorated the room with candles and a bottle of champagne was chilling.

The driver of the town car didn't see the driver of the other car going the wrong way on the highway due to the rain until it was too late. Mason's driver was killed, as was the other driver, Mason who was going over some papers didn't see the accident. He was knocked unconscious. Luckily he had his seat belt on.

The jaws of life were used to free him from the car. He was alive and except for a few bruises he was fine. Mason called his mother and told her not to tell Daniela. He was checked out at the local hospital and found to be all right. They wanted to keep him for observation, but he refused. He wanted to go home to Daniela. Before he left Mason called the wife of his driver and offered his help and condolences. He then phoned Blake and told him what happened. Blake arranged for the widow to receive monies to help her and her three children.

Blake also arranged for a new car for Mason and sent a driver to pick Mason up from the hospital and take him home.

Mason went home and first talked with his mother. She held him. 'Mother all I could think of was leaving Daniela and the babies. I can't wait to marry her. I love her more and more each day."

Lady Catherine cried, "If I would have lost you, I would have died. You go to her. I haven't told her anything, but I think the two of you need to be together. Thank god you are all right. I've phoned your father and he sends his love."

Mason went into the bedroom. Daniela in the candlelight with the plum colored nightgown on looked ethereal. She ran to him and then noticed the bruises on his face. He sat her down on the bed and told her what happened. It was one in the morning.

Daniela, tears stinging her eyes, held him and told him how much she loved him. They kissed and their passion took hold and Mason undressed. His body was covered in bruises and his knee was a little banged up but he was alive and with the woman he loved.

Mason made love to Daniela that night and Daniela made love to Mason. They were together and god had spared his life. He vowed to make the most of this second chance.
