"What about the others?" she asked, seeing the other letters in the shoebox.
"I told you, those ones are a little more private," I said. "It wouldn't be right to show them to you."
"Why?" she asked. "What do they say?"
"Private things," I said.
"Such as?"
"Just that," I told her. "Private. As in, no one be me and her knows what they say."
"Hey Marc, I was wondering if you had a copy of..." Amy said as she walked in and then stopped when she saw Roxanne there. "What are you doing here?"
"I was, um..." Roxanne started to say.
"I brought her here to show her some of the letters my secret admirer had sent me," I said.
Amy arched her eyebrow in the way only she can and looked at Roxanne, who was blushing as she looked away. It was like the two of them knew something.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"Tell him," Amy said.
"No," Roxanne said.
"Tell me what?" I asked.
"Tell him or I will," Amy said.
"I can't," Roxanne said.
"What can't you tell me?" I asked.
"She wrote you those letters," Amy said.

Anonymousabout 14 years agoI too think that Amy is the writer of the interesting notes. Correct or not, Roxi has added another interesting element to the story. I am enjoying the way that you are layering the story. This is one that could be kept up for months. Please do so.

peteinchicagoabout 14 years agoI'm not sure if Roxy seems like the person who wrote the notes. Amy seems to have been trying to seperate Mark and Roxy, maybe it was her, hard to say, I guess we'll have to wait untill the next chapter. Good story so far, keep the updates coming.
