"If he'll take you, I'll give you to him, and two goats to sweeten the deal?" Mrs. Taniger answered impishly.
"Oh you!" Alex rang up the sale and scolded Mrs. Tangier until her next customer came in.
Then it was full boar into her morning. Alex had a few people comment on her extra good mood. Alex smiled her way through her shift, chatting and laughing with her customers. Especially with her crotchety old men that came in to drink drip coffee and play chess. One kept telling her that if she didn't find a man, he would find one for her. She was too good to go to waste. Alex smiled and moved around the coffee shop.
