In this, one of his few SF stories, an uncle wills his nephew a gold watch with some of the characteristics of this one. The story, along with being one heck of a fun romp around Florida in the '60s, deals with the ethical and moral factors of having so much power.
Don't laugh, the problems would become very real and quite serious if the user was tempted to continue using it as Jack has shown he wants to. That said, "On With the Show"! Let's follow Jack as he self-destructs and takes his entire world with him...
