Seriously though, I survived, and I'm still hideous to look at, but I'm much better now, able to walk normally, with only a hint of a limp. I keep fit.
I have my darling Ann, and my wonderful children. We're making new memories. Couldn't be better. Really.

Anonymous3 months agoOther than the fact that with what was manufacured evidence in real life that evidence would be just a Allan imagined it so close to 100% of the time as to be rock solid.
I mean he was as broken in everyway and on top of that gradually coming back from amnesia only to have to force the truth into people with no empathy given for his plight and every empathy for others feelings..
I mean even Jenny starting and making out with Peter while she is in a relationship with him.
Anne acting familiar with Derek in front of Allan when she knows he is extremely fragile and the only one who was not the author of any his own misfortune. I mean it's arms length time in that situation.
rickydean564 months agoRead another story with the same premise but in the US. He started a restaurant and she found him. Not sure who wrote it or the name of the story. Curious which story posted first. Not suggesting anything inappropriate, I like the stories enough to want to write one with my twist.
They will be normal vs rich and the revenge would be an eye for an eye.
I normally have trouble with the British stories, the unknown sayings, well unknown to Americans throws me off but I still give it 5 stars.
Anonymous9 months agoThanks for this storey. You conveyed the MC's thoughts and reasoning very well. Most of the characters worked well, but I cannot understand his responses to others manipulation. Ok - on a personal level for me the fastest way to get dropped is to try to manipulate me, and I understand that this may well not be such a nono for others, but when you look at what this interference cost him?
NickTee9 months agoWhew... That was too long by half. The reconciliation was pathetic. The MC would have been better off picking up that Susan character...
Oh well... It's only a story...
Anonymous10 months agoWifey displayed ultimate faith and patience for her new fiancee. None at all for her badly PTSDed who came out of a coma with bad memory loss.
Anonymous11 months agoPredictable ending given all the other stories, pity though, returning to the ex wife. Would like to see this author do a twist on an ending for once.
