"When you come back next you should bring a bottle."

"I will." Isonei yawned. "I don't know what to give you for a wedding gift. If you'd like I can try to collect some wines for you."

"No, I think I'd prefer you to give me something more personal." She adjusted herself with her arm across Isonei's belly. "You drew those three pictures for me of positions, maybe you could do more? I want to know how to do those things the right way."

"I can do that, but I told you, the most important part is enjoying it and it's fun to figure things out on your own. If you take your time and pay attention to each other you can't do it wrong." Isonei smiled sleepily. "I'll start working on your wedding gift tomorrow."

Arissa made a drowsily amused sound, "Maybe you can draw some of the things you do with your Torgan tonight."

"Do you want me to draw the things you can do in the bath and in the carriage as well?" Isonei teased not opening her eyes.

"You didn't!" Arissa giggled hiding her face in Isonei's bust.

"The two of them also broke dishes by enjoying each other on the breakfast table in the Prince's first, more private accomodations." The Daga's amused interruption made Isonei's eyes jerk open in startlement. "I think I have a new picture I need to paint. The two of you drowsing in the sun this way, the daughter of Liadith with her eyes closed as if asleep and the daughter of Gildith with her eyes just barely open and that bewitchingly mischievous smile..."

"You saw him!" Isonei pinched the Lerian woman lounging across her making her wiggle and squeal with laughter.

"I did!"

"If you sit with me I promise not to pinch you." Daga Liadith's green eyes sparkled.

"We do have to behave." Arissa let him help her up and followed him to his bench.

"Of course, I don't want to be short." He laughed and got himself settled holding out his hand in invitation.

"I wish you would tell me what I said wrong." Isonei muttered getting comfortable by herself at an angle she could keep an eye on them.

They ignored her, dropping their voices and cuddling close speaking softly, almost entirely inaudible from her bench. The sunlight warmed her back as she watched them, coupled with the murmuring she struggled not to let her eyes fall closed. Her mind wandered back to Draeseth. It would have been nice to have him here on the benches to lie next to that way but it would be almost impossible to pay attention to the Daga and Arissa with him so close.

Rubbing her eyes, Isonei realized she was going to fall asleep if she didn't sit up. Readjusting and sitting with her elbows on her thighs and her head in her hands she decided to interrupt them.

"My Daga?"

Both he and Arissa looked at her with annoyance. "Isonei?"

"Do you still have the little stand your father gave you? I'm going to fall asleep if I keep lounging this way. I could get started on your wedding gift if-"

He lifted his hand and made an imperious gesture and one of the older servants seemed to appear from nowhere. "Please have my small writing stand brought out with paper and my pencils for Lady Isonei."

"Thank you, my Daga."

"Practice your Lerian, daughter of Liadith."

"Yes, my Daga."

It wasn't long before the stand, paper, and pencils were brought out and Isonei perched on the edge of the bench to begin her work. Asking what they would be most interested in would be too difficult in Lerian and they looked as if they were caught up in each other. Disturbing them would be rude.

She decided to start with what they'd discussed earlier, drawing rather simplified pictures of a man's cock and a woman's sex on separate pieces of paper and trying to mark points of interest. Writing things down as they occurred to her, the instructions were unorganized. They would have to be rewritten and put in better order. Isonei was so focused on her work that she jumped when Arissa pinched her shoulder playfully.

"It's time for lunch. You're so wrapped up in your writing..." Arissa blushed as the Daga came to look at the papers on the stand as well.

He sucked his lips against his teeth before remarking flippantly, "Mine isn't quite like that."

"I haven't seen a Lerian cock so I drew an Aran one. Every one of them is a little different from the others but it should still work the same."

"You didn't draw a Torgan one?" Arissa teased settling next to her.

"No, I don't have the skill. My Draeseth is..." Isonei felt herself flush slightly, "magnificent."

"You should be speaking Lerian." The Daga began to put her paper and pencils away inside the wooden stand.

"Oh stop." Arissa waved a hand at him, "She does well enough."

"The daughter of Liadith should speak better Lerian." He gave her a cautioning frown and she returned it with an icy smile.

"The daughter of Liadith should have spent much more time in Leria. I want to talk with her and she speaks less when she has to use Lerian. She can use whatever language she likes."

Isonei felt suddenly unsure being caught between the bickering pair.

"I am the Daga here and if I want the daughter of Liadith to speak Lerian she will do so."

"I want her to speak Aran. Didn't you say 'anything the daughter of Gildith wants' when I came here?"

Racking her brain for a way to diffuse the argument or get out from between them, Isonei looked around helplessly.

"This is for her own good and she'll learn more quickly if you encourage her to speak properly."

"Are you going to teach her the proper words to describe a man's...?" She gestured at the wooden stand.

"Phallus." He smirked with a sparkle in his vividly green eyes. "You can say it."

Arissa blushed and glared at him but Isonei spoke the word curiously, "Phallus." Both looked at her in surprise so she repeated it as if making sure she were saying it correctly. "Phallus?"

"Stop. My father is going to find a way to thrash me if you start saying that word."

"But you said..." Isonei looked at him with feigned confusion.

"She's far from innocent, but hearing that word from her mouth is like hearing it from a child isn't it?" Arissa began to giggle.

"It's because of the way she speaks." Daga Liadith sighed. "Very well, she may speak Aran with you but she has to speak Lerian to me."

"That is acceptable, Daga Liadith." Arissa's victorious smirk made the Daga's eyes brighten.
