"John, help me," I whispered.
"Are you alright Jo," Ana asked me.
"I'm OK," I told her. I didn't want her to know why I was so traumatized.
"I'm here my darling," John said to me. I felt him put his arms around me, hugging me. I felt him kiss me on my forehead. I could tell that he was as shocked as I was.
"I'm here my darling," he said again. "Together we will get through this."
