After taking a quick shower, Cassandra changed into a pair of dark blue dress pants, a pale yellow pullover sleeveless blouse and a lovely gold necklace that displayed a beautiful Celtic cross. Brushing out her hair, Cassandra opted for a tight ponytail, preferring to keep her hair back in a rather elegant look.

As she is dressing, getting herself ready to proceed with her day, she couldn't help but reflect on the events that have occurred. Not just for today, but for the past few days.

Getting into her car, Cassandra takes a drive towards the Omni Hotel. She had a thing for the lounge there and it's peaceful aura. Allowing a valet to park her car, Cassandra steps out and enters the lobby of the hotel.

A distinguished, bald headed middle aged man named William made eye contact with the woman that entered the lobby. She looked just as apprehensive as anybody he ever met.

Recognizing Cassandra upon entry, William smiles, but finds himself becoming somewhat agitated himself. His last encounter with her was not under the best of circumstances and wasn't sure if she had gotten over it yet. If someone like her can carry a grudge for over 30 years, there was no doubt she would.

Cassandra eyes William with a smile, but says nothing. William observes Cassandra entering the garden court and looks to his associates.

"If you will excuse me," he starts.

The bald immortal follows Cassandra into the garden court and approaches her with a question, "May I join you?"

At first, their meeting felt a bit cold. It was clear on Cassandra's face that she was still apprehensive towards William. However, as the two got to talking and William began to apologize for actions he committed over 90 years ago, albeit accidental, that seemed to chip away the ice a bit.

"Since I seem to have developed the habit of forgiveness as of late, I accept your apology." Cassandra smiles, sipping from her glass of water.

"Good," William smiles back.

He adds, "Life is too short to be caught up in bitter feelings and senseless grudges, don't you agree?"

"Perhaps." Cassandra didn't entirely agree about the grudges issue, but she was in no mood right now to go into some kind of philosophical debate over it. Besides, against William, she knew she would lose.

The waitress approached the table and took their food orders. Cassandra decided to go with a Salisbury steak dinner and William opted for smoked salmon with red wine sauce. He also ordered a bottle of champagne.

"Champagne?" Cassandra was taken by surprise by such an order.

"To celebrate the power to forgive and forget," William smiles at her.

Smiling back, Cassandra gradually felt herself becoming more and more at ease. A relaxing night with a good friend was just the ticket she needed. "I guess I can go with that."

It took merely a few minutes before the champagne arrived. Dom Perignon, of course. The people at the Omni knew William's tastes well enough to understand that he doesn't accept anything less than the best.

Serving the wine, the waitress leaves Cassandra and William alone until it was time to get their meals, which was going to take a few more minutes.

Raising his glass to Cassandra, William proposes a toast. In response, Cassandra raises her glass as well and hears what the man has to say.

"How about to friendships, old and new?" He asks.

"To friendships, old and new." Cassandra taps her champagne glass next to William's as he does the same next to hers.

They both take sips, not taking their eyes off each other. Between the two, Cassandra is the first to set her glass down. She then addresses William. "What brings you to London this time around?"

"Well, it has been half a century since I've returned to these parts and I wanted to come home again. I'm in the hotel only long enough until I finalize the deal to a property I've just purchased over the internet."

Chuckling, Cassandra shook her head. "I never suspected you of all people would do something like that. Forgive me, but you've always seemed to come across as a traditionalist."

"Even traditionalists have to catch up with the times, Cassandra."

The two laugh as they sip from their champagne glasses again. It was good to be in pleasant company. When their dinners arrived, the two continued to relish their time together, not caring if the world around them fell apart at this very instant.

Dinner, champagne and good conversation was a pleasant combination. It had been a long time since William had the chance to relax like this and, judging from the demeanor of his beautiful companion, he could tell Cassandra seemed to be in the same boat.

It took some convincing, but William was able to have Cassandra accompany him to his suite. The garden court had closed for the day and the weekend crowd made the lounge less inviting than usual. Besides, he wanted some quiet time and he figured Cassandra was in the same boat.

Once in the hotel room, the two talked about anything and everything that there was to talk about. Their past adventures and misadventures. They seemed more relaxed. When they were in the garden court, they couldn't exactly indulge too much into their more personal experiences. They had to keep their conversations limited to meaningless topics like the weather and world politics.

As their conversation wore on and the sun had long since gone, William watched every little smile, frown and roll of the eyes as Cassandra spoke. He had always been enchanted with the woman in the past, but never had the opportunity to spend any kind of time with her. Now that they are alone in the same room together, he couldn't help but get wrapped up in the moment. He hoped that perhaps she was starting to experience the same thing.

Cassandra noticed William's eyes upon her and actually felt herself flush. Was she going shy on him? She couldn't believe it. Here she is, a 40 year old woman, blushing!

She could feel a burning deep within her and for the first time in a long time, her body ached with a wanting that was nearly driving her over the edge.

If it were anybody else, she wouldn't care. Just jump the man and get it over with. However, she never had actually fallen heavily enough for anyone to experience what she is feeling now. She was falling in love with William and there wasn't a thing she could do to fight it.

Not like it was a battle she wished to fight. She wondered if William was perhaps feeling the same way towards her.

There was electricity within the room, no doubt about it. William could sense it, as could Cassandra. Who couldn't?

For a brief moment, it felt like the world stood perfectly still and William had that little voice within him, telling him to drop the shy routine and go for it.

"Kiss the girl, you old fool!" his inner thoughts yell at him.

So, without further adieu, William leans forward and presses his lips against Cassandra, hoping that she'd respond favorably.

The kiss took her by surprise, but it was a pleasant one. William's hopes were realized when she kissed him back, wrapping her arms around his neck and shoulders in a hold where she didn't seem to want to let go. Judging from his reaction, he didn't want to let go either.

Their mouths began to feed off each other with a hunger that would not be denied. As soon as they fell into bed with each other, Cassandra and William relished in each other's touch. Neither wanted to stop, as they feared if they did so, they may ruin the mood.

They remained tightly locked, moving as one. Both have been around the block many times. Cassandra has seen and done much in her time, as has William. And yet, despite the vast experiences their extended lifetimes have provided them, nothing compared to what they were feeling right now.

Struggling to get their clothes off, Cassandra and William continued with the kissing, touching and groping.

Once the confinement of clothing was out of the way, there was nothing stopping them now. Except for a phone call.

"Let it ring." Cassandra whispers in William's ear.

At first he obliges, continuing to put the moves her. When the phone stopped ringing, it's distraction was quickly forgotten and the two shifted positions. Instead of William on top of Cassandra, it was now the other way around.

Sitting up, she caresses her own breasts. Her hands are quickly followed by William's. The two could feel the ache within them. The mutual wanting was at it's peak.

Then, the phone rings again. Damn phone.

Not able to take it anymore, Cassandra reaches for the receiver and picks it up, handing it to William. As he takes it from her, a devilish smirk came across the woman's face as she lowers herself.

With a squeakish hello, William tries to keep his composure, but it was difficult with the sex pot working away on his member.

Whatever conversation it was that was attempted, was quickly cut off when William merely hung up the phone. Just as he did so, Cassandra began to bob up and down at a frantic pace, working William into a frenzy.

When he came, his load shot into Cassandra with a fury. She had to admit, she didn't think William had it in him. But, she was glad that he did. It gave her a pleasant surprise to look forward to.

After he came, Cassandra continued to work on William until he was hard again. She then pulls her mouth away and looks to the man with a smile. He smiles back at her and the two turn around again.

Now back on top of her, William begins to shift his weight. Once in position, he eased himself into Cassandra, slowly entering her with his shaft. She was already very wet from anticipation, so grinding himself right to the base was like heaven for both of them.

Once inside, the two took their time, slowly rocking against each other with deliberate movements. Their mouths locked again. William could taste himself against Cassandra's sweet lips.

She hadn't felt this alive in years. It was as if she had been dead and buried until someone finally came along to dig her out. That someone is William.

The need to fulfill the lust that's been building between them reaches the breaking point as William's movements become more intense. The speed of his thrusts into her are matched with the force of Cassandra's hips bucking against him.

If it were possible to keep this pace going forever without stopping, they would. However, the need to cum overwhelmed Cassandra and William to the point where they could no longer hold back. When they came, they did this together, with William still driven deep inside her.

Their cries as they call out each other's names were like answered prayers in their ears. Cassandra nor William seemed like they couldn't get enough.

However, after their sex juices splashed against each other in grand fashion, the exhaustion of their efforts caused them to fall asleep together, still holding each other in a tight embrace that refused to break, even upon the arrival of dawn.
