I'm an engineer, widowed, retired from the aircraft industry and loving every minute of my retirement! It's great being able to do what I want, when I want, the way I want.

I've found it very relaxing to sit at the keyboard at night, when everything is quiet, and write whatever comes to mind. I understand that I can't please everybody, and I gave up trying a long time ago. If you simply don't like my writing, it's more likely my fault than yours, so I suggest that your time might better be spent reading somebody else's stories.

Please don't get caught in the story at the top of my list, "A Walk in the Woods." It's just a fragment--something went horribly wrong during the posting. I later rewrote the story and posted it with a different title, but I haven't been able to get this orphaned fragment removed.
