I received feedback from a fan asking me who is behind the young woman in "Tall, Dark, and Damned". My answer would be: the incarnation of the vampire Count Orlok from Nosferatu. This vampyre is depicted in the film that is running in the theatre while the story is playing out.

Throughout the story, I have dropped subtle clues and hints about the plot's direction. "Sam" would be a modern day Igor, for instance. He is a puppet that does his master's bidding. Who is his master? Count Orlok.

Who is the vampire Count Orlok from Nosferatu? What does he look like? Please Google this. Hope that cleared things up.

Additionally, I meant to write that Julie had "crooked her 'neck' " in the coffee house, not her head, but, I was unable to edit this typo once the story was published.

Ciao.

Note:

I am brand, spanking new to writing. Stay tuned as I develop my craft...

Here are a few of my favorite writers and their work. It's not particularly sexual in nature, however, its damned interesting writing just the same.

As a kid, I loathed Nancy Drew mysteries. I used to adore reading the old, "Trixie Beldon" mystery series featuring the tomboy Trixie and her femme side kick Honey Wheeler...lol. Can't find any of these books anymore. :0\
