Cynical. Suspicious. Somewhat pessimistic. It's little wonder that Harry Tasker is a writer with a fascination for the darker sides of Man's nature. His noir-flavoured fiction explores desires not brought readily into the light, and is born of a belief that there is darkness in us all, darkness that can never be totally ignored.
He remains a committed opponent of his nation's outdated morality and hypocrisy concerning matters of sex, violence and censorship in both literature and film.
In his mid-thrities, he lives in the south-west of England. Besides writing, he enjoys a passion for film noir, log fires, single malt whisky and scuba-diving.
