I've spent most of my life in the Middle East, but am now in the SW Scotland. I'd love to hear from females who like my work!

I'm amazed and a little in awe that "A Legend of the Great War" has had 33765 views, a number which isn't entirely static after five years. When did 33765 of anybody last listen to anything I said? It's a tribute to Literotica, and to all of you.

That is several times more views than "Tiffany", for which I worked harder, since the very old men I knew in my childhood didn't write any of that one for me.

"A Legend" is about a young man who finds himself in no uncertain fashion, in an environment where he sees almost everyone he knows ground to bits. I'm still agin it, have never been there, don't want to be there, and don't think anybody should have to be there.

So why does everyone ask whether "Tiffany" is autobiographical? It isn't, except for some of the scenery.

I have high hopes of "The White Ravine", although there is a lot less to it. Again, there are bits of it that come from my holiday in Marseille, closely interleaved with bits from other places, other times and my imagination, although all more or less my own. That is why they call it authorship!
