Formerly, a hopeless romantic.
Then, embittered by cruel reality, I fancied myself a cynic. But nothing is more romantic than a cynical romantic. So I gave up and realized that everything that happens is the best possible thing that COULD happen.
Now I'm just a romantic again.
However, that doesn't mean I don't acknowledge the dark side of life. Hell, the dark side is what makes life interesting, at least from a writer's perspective. I find the more I explore that dark side, the lighter I feel.
It's a wonderful world, ain't it?
