What are Illustrated Stories?

Literotica Illustrated Stories are text stories with accompanying images or artwork.

Authors have found many creative ways to use illustrations in stories over the years, including artwork showing the characters or locations in the story, maps of worlds explored in the stories, illustrations of scenes described in the stories, diagrams of creatures featured in the stories, and much more.

Illustrated Stories are published in a special category called “Illustrated”. Many Lit readers love illustrated stories, though some readers prefer to see only text. Keeping all stories with images or artwork in one category makes them easy to find for readers who appreciate them, and easy to avoid for those who prefer text.

All Illustrated Stories on Literotica are required to contain only original images created by the author, owned by the author, or that the author has received written permission from the image owner to use. We believe strongly in artist’s controlling their copyright and Lit site guideline strictly prohibit the publishing of unauthorized images or text.
