How is it that you see me through blinded eyes?
I am not the one you seek but the one, who you'll fetch,
Your fire is for another, this much I do know as I cry,
Only because of class are we separated, others by time.
The Heir seeks me not fit for my love, for to be the bride,
How delightfully fitting was I for you to be inside?
My Dear Man or should I say boy, was I a comfort to ride?
I can be crass or rude for I am not the desired,
My heart died because you could never decide for me,
Perhaps it's for the best because a man I require,
To be at my side no matter how hard this becomes,
Go ahead little boy to your Mommy run.
The finest fake bride awaits your charms and your ring,
The best man's speech should include thanks to me, your side thing.
Oh, I am not bitter or angry and wish you the best for your life,
Just don't think we'll be the same when you make her your wife.
I'm not the desired one from where I have been,
Though you loved me just fine again and again,
Does she know how to please you the way that I can?
Do her lips taste like sweetness from a licorice stand?
Did you explain to her that when things got out of hand,
That you came to me to make you feel like a man?
Oh it's okay my lover I will not mess up your special day,
Your shadow will never, I mean ever, grace my foray.
If I'm not the desired honey well then neither are you,
For destiny cures me from feeling sad and blue,
The next time we meet I'll wish you well with your life,
I will be pleasant and cordial although I'm not your wife.
Because I'm not the desired one according to you,
No, I'm just the one you decided to screw.
Yeah, I am the educator and a lesson well learned,
Until time for you to marry then I was just burned.
However, I am desired by another who's quite the lover,
Oh, he's not a stranger, no baby, he's your brother.

some great lines

in this poem, as

"How delightfully fitting was I for you to be inside?

My Dear Man or should I say boy, was I a comfort to ride?"

and

"I'm not the desired one from where I have been,

Though you loved me just fine again and again," show real talent. Might I suggest tightening it up a bit and shortening it a bit by elimination or reworking of weaker lines such as line 9, 14, 20, 26.? or not?

a lover scorned

is vilified when replaced by his brother. On the other hand it keeps the family united in its sexual pursuits and sets the stage for years of feuding. The poem might be titled, "How to Hurt the One We loved." You can upstage this by replacing the son with his blind demented syphilitic father or is that a redo of a greek myth?
