Too hard because if she had turned 18 at the beginning of the school year, she wouldn't be graduating until she was 20 and school in Deutschland only goes to grade 13....or about 19 years old. Then the issue with the teacher, if he could have any woman, why settle for just one? Ergo: he wouldn't have.

About your points - actually, I was 20 when I graduated from grade 13. It is rare, but does happen. Laura, however, is 19 when she graduates, as she has her birthday in August, after the end of the school year.

As for the teacher, well, basically he is a bit crazy.

im not really enjoying this, i feel so bad for laura, but its SO COMPELLING i cant stop! i want to know more! there has to be more. i feel like its building up, up, up to something and im glad i dont have to wait for next chapter :D
