Can't wait for your next story.What I love is a story that does not waste pages and pages on a lot of padding before getting to the point. Great, carry on writing.

The "surprise" ending was telegraphed...

...by the quotation marks around the word "strangers" in the description.

Other than that, it was very enjoyable.
