My only problem is I hate the phrase 'shit-eating grin'. If I was eating shit, I damn sure wouldn't be grinning.

Hardly a zombie in sight

For a zombie story this read more like a rape story. The zombies were described more like normal men, chatting, arranging the rape. It wasn't scary at all.
