Marcy, who had been watching from the sidelines, squeaked and joined Amanda and I as we ran over. Alex nodded slightly, his grin wry. He was holding a folder in one hand, slapping it against his other hand. He grinned as we stood at attention.
"What's up, boss?" I asked.
"Oh, nothing much. Activity on an island in the sea of Japan which could be anything from smugglers to the North Koreans getting ready to launch a WMD into Japan. And you get to find out which it is...and stop them."
I gulped.
Talk about a boner killer.

NymphoBrainiac7about 6 years agoFun story, looking forward to more. One minor note: Jack Daniels is the Budweiser of bourbon, or the Sam Adams at best. It's not something that distinguishes the consumer as a person "of taste."
