Nicely done on the progression, as well as giving Ashyr a bit of a moral compass there. Nice touch with making a teifling, a Lord of the city! Curious if you'll write more about the city, how it works and how it holds together. Only gripe I have, is that the chapters are a bit short, but it is your story, so keep writing!
