Who is this "Reverend Mikki"? And why does she constantly fill up valuable time with her crazy troll comments on Literotica? Please ban this poster,as she contributes nothing of value. The story was beautifully written,very poetic.

I always seem to like your stories and this was another good one. Honesty, integrity, love and respect never go out of style. You may call it old fashioned. I call it a good life style.

I could just feel the emotion of the characters and would like to believe these people still exist in this screwed up society created by the liberals. The it's not my fault and give me stuff for free cult that the dems have fostered.

I lived when you would help your neighbor and your word was your bond. Today it seems everyone is out for themselves and you can not trust anyone. Your story has brought back memories of old. Thanks

Yesterday I read a dreary tale, with little of value in it. A downer: 'Life is terrible and then you die'. But today I was lucky to read this fine, uplifting tale and I wish to thank you for this gift of great worth, DG Hear! Life should be about giving, caring and loving, and your story paints that picture like the master storyteller that you are!

I married the love of my life on Valintines day . we had 27 +yrs together before she passed to soon for me . she told me I would never have a reason to forget either

"You see, George ... it's My birthday. Merry Christmas."

If - IF - Jesus had ever really existed, then according to the bible (infallible because it’s supposedly the word of God) his birthday would have been in late February.

Sad, really...

I believe my favorite is the lead in about the grandfather and the part with Jesus great. The second best part is up until Rose. There is just something about him going off in the service and coming home to find her married with a kid, after 30 or so years apart I may see it different but for now...........
