I loved your story. It was well written and full of reality to the point that I wished it was me holding her in that moment of happiness. I suppose it was made more real because of my familiarity with the setting, which gave me the only pause. I find it hard to accept that there was no other traffic on the highway between Seaside and Portland, but then that would have ruined the storyline.

We drove that highway this summer on the way to spending three days in Manzanita. I guess they had towed her car by then.

Five stars for sure.
