All Comments on 'A Mis-Guided Business Email'

As with all of the handful of stories I’ve submitted thus far, this one is also based on factual events in my life. Names have been changed, of course.

Debbie and I hooked up a few more times over the next 2 years. She wanted us to get serious but I wasn’t ready for that kind of leap in our relationship. Sadly, Debbie was diagnosed with cancer and it took her life within a few short months. She was a generous person and tender of heart. Writing this story stirred good memories of the times we spent together. I miss her and always think of her when I watch her favorite team play.
