The ice bucket scene reminded me of a movie I saw a long time ago about a pro golfer and his girlfriend who went naked to the ice machine. It's a good image of a naked woman behaving as though her nakedness is perfectly normal. (But the pro later tipped the ice onto her in bed.)

I liked the story, but surely the Category Police will be upset that no wives did things to cause husbands to upset themselves and tell their stories of woe?

Been there and done it, and thoroughly enjoyed it. A few years ago now but I still think back to watching my wife (at the time), slowly undoing buttons on her top, well aware that a group of men just along the bar were watching her every move. Then later taking her clothes off one by one as she walked from our car, across the street and up to our front door, by that time with only her high heels left on, with absolutely no idea if any of our neiboughs were watching from their windows. Then standing there smiling while I slowly locked the car up (no central locking back then), and meandered over to unlock the door.

Not sure what you were trying for here, but I could detect no wizardry with words in this story.

No exaggerations here and good writing made the reader wonder, was this good imagination on the part of the author or true? We'll never know. I really enjoyed reading this. Please more like this. Maybe next time she'll try to go a step further.
