Great Beginning.....

..... to what promises to be an enjoyable story.

anachronism

I assume this is set in the late middle ages. De Sade was born in 1740, much later than this story, so having characters use "sadistic"in their thoughts is a bit grating to a grammar Nazi ;-)

I dont want to get invovled with a long story, but I may have too, this was very good. Reminds me of Outlanders.

As a Scot, I have nae bother with the dialect..It’s nowhere near as complex as the glossary required in George MacDonald Fraser’s “MacAuslan in the Rough” ( if you haven’t read it you must). I’m late to the party but looking forward to your story!

Great writing, if you continued like this and actually finish the series it will be an excellent read
