Nice twist at the end. The doctor says not to give him one if he's been drinking, so you give him a drink and a pill. Then the phone call .... ended the call with "I love you too". Who were you talking too Anne. Was it Marty, Sal's husband? How long have you had a lover? Maybe you're the reason he's filandering again, though not initially I think? . Might have been nice to have him acknowledge (the I love you too comment in his mind) and question who you were talking to in his mind. "Anne was scared for me" ... because she knew what she was trying to do, but then she gave up "Fuck it". Did I read that right? Maybe another story here?
