Some people seem to be impatient. I think this is a wonderful start and am very curious to where it may lead.

Not sure why people are bitching about the category. The story so far really doesn't meet any category, although it did touch on a couple. It was just an intro (at least it looks like it to me). Will have to wait and see how it develops. Guess, I am just not one of those that demands instant gratification.

In a sense even in an abusive or as in case of slavery an exploitative relationship, there is an element of consent of the governed in the sense that for various reasons the governed tolerate the relationship. All makes that point very clearly. Excellent piece, well done!
