She will die on her feet but not beg on her knees. The obstinate refusal to bend lends itself well to her character. I sense a deus ex machina somewhere with Leonid and Dev.

I totally enjoy your writing from Revenge to Siren and have been a huge supporter up till this moment. I know I am going against other commenters who liked it, but this ruined everything I've read up till now. I had no problem with her getting captured and tormented but that isn't badass or brave, it left me sick. 6 pages of torture for what possible reason?

Maybe I'm just not into that seriously dark crap but I would have been fine totally skipping over that chapter. I am not taking anything away from you as a writer, because you are truly up there for me but I just did not care for this at all. Maybe I will discover a point to all that torture in a future chapter, I don't know. I will still read on but hope you get back to what made this story so good in the first place.

It's taken me a while to collect myself enough to even respond. Your story has been really good up until the extended torture. I had no complaints about the non-con scenes with Leonid . They were actually pretty hot from a subs perspective. Even her capture and interrogation makes perfect sense. What's left me feeling ill was your unrelenting need to prolong it. I read in images and it's one I regret seeing.

I skimmed into the next chapter and see nothing but the same repetitive torture. This is obviously your kink but it turns my stomach that this is what turns people on. And this is coming from someone who enjoys the bdsm & the non-con genre's.

Let's face it. This isn't literary genius meant to enlighten us on the human condition.It's a just kinky story that for those who love not pain but, the unrelenting infliction. So if you're into pulling the wings off butterflies, skinning cats and beatings that cut into flesh, this book is for you.
