Great story line despite mixing up your character Charla a couple of times with "Connie." As an author I know it can happen from time to time and it didn't take anything away from the story. I enjoyed this chapter and look forward to more.

you only have 1 female in the story and can't keep her name straight

This is legally not an incestuous love story. What is important is the love, safety, and security the step mother receives from her step son. The love, respect, and maturity of thought of the step son is expected. Both characters are self-assured, self-aware, and have well developed egos and ids. Finally, they accept that love has no boundaries, Only people have artifically created limits on personal relationships.
