The job of an author is to paint a picture with words. To not describe your characters is like Leonardo painting the background of the Mona Lisa, but leaving Mona Lisa out of it and saying, "Well, you can imagine her however you like." Even paint-by-numbers pictures, at least, tell you what color goes where.

And then to say they look like two people who, I (and the majority of your readers, I'm sure) have never heard of is insane. Who the *F* are Rosie Jones and Sam Clafin? School chums? Neighbors of yours?

If I have to fantasize about what someone looks like, I'll imagine the rest of the fantasy, too, and skip your "fill in the blanks" stories.

Odd way yo start but it building up, all experiences in this taboo ways are different that is why I read.
